INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS

  • Grooming can be a scary first experience - put our expert experience to work for you! Book an introductory groom with your new puppy to create a positive first experience. All puppies are groomed with love and affection!

UNIQUE PROGRAM

  • Dog owners are allowed to stay onsite with the dogs while they are being groomed. If any problem areas arise, we will offer handouts on protocols to desensitize your dog to help create a low stress groom/bath time for them.

Grooming

Grooming can be stress free! Here at In Dogs We Trust we are experts in behaviour modification, decreasing stress and anxiety. Our specialized grooming program will be geared towards beautifying your dog in a stress free environment. Here are a few steps we are taking to ensure a stress free groom:

  • • Our certified groomer will undergo a minimum of 3 months of specialized training from our professional dog trainers on reading body language, behaviour modification and low stress handling techniques.


  • • Our stress free program includes Adaptil diffusers throughout the facility.
    "The pheromone released in ADAPTIL is identical in nature to the Dog Appeasing Pheromone (D.A.P) secreted by a mother dog from 3-5 days after the puppy's birth to provide reassurance to the puppies


  • • Through a Dog's Ear is a series of music and sound therapies that have been scientifically studied to reduce anxiety in dogs
    "Clinically tested to calm dogs and reduce anxiety. Nine beautiful classical piano positions have been specifically rearranged to reduce anxiety in dogs".


  • • For dogs/puppies who are timid we offer 2 short low cost visits to ease your dog/puppy into the grooming experience, with free handouts on a behaviour modification protocol for dogs who have handling issues/fear of grooming/nail trims.
