Private Training

(Dog Training Classes inside London, Ontario at In Dogs We Trust)

If you would prefer to have personal attention to improve your dog’s obedience training or your schedule is way too busy for group sessions, then In Dogs We Trust offers private lessons throughout the day or evening at your convenience! Available in your home, the local park, our facility that is located right inside of the city of London Ontario or anywhere that is convenient for you.

Both the group and private dog training lessons are conducted by an instructor with extensive dog training and behaviour experience and come with written handouts.

If you are experiencing advanced behavioural issues with your dog such as aggression, profound fear, or separation anxiety then private lessons are the appropriate choice. To change your dog’s behaviour you need someone with experience.

In Dogs We Trust will conduct a free assessment of your dog’s behaviour over the phone and book a private in-home consultation with a trainer with extensive dog behaviour experience. In the private consultations for behaviour modification we only use positive methods that we have experienced success with many dogs.  If you have not experienced success with the first method, our trainer will be quick to suggest another.

· $75 per hour for new puppy visits

· $100 per hour for behaviour modification

Puppy Classes - Aged 10 weeks - 6 months

AwwwwwCongratulations on your new family member! Group classes are critical to your puppy's development, socialization and well-being. The recommended time to start is as early as 10 weeks during 'the critical socialization period' so that pet parents can prevent behavioural issues and raise a puppy that is well mannered, willingly compliant, and happy.

Socialization means to learn ones culture and how to live within it. This is more difficult for dogs since they must learn how to co-exist with humans, dogs and other animals. Early exposure and socialization is crucial.

A dog that has not been socialized is often fearful and riddled with anxiety and stress. In these dog training classes with other people, children and puppies, your pup will be socialized to become confident and learn to follow basic commands under distractions.

In these puppy classes we have socialization exercises, use equipment such as an agility tunnel to build confidence and have free play time at the end of the class for the puppies.

Located right inside the city of London Ontario, our group and private dog training classes are all taught by an instructor with extensive dog training experience and you’ll receive written handouts with each class.

We will work with you to teach you how dogs think and learn and how to apply the underlying principles of dog training so that you can solve issues that arise throughout their lifetime!

Training in a group environment is fun for both the dog and handler and teaches your dog to listen under distraction. Through our positive motivational methods, let us teach you how to motivate your dog so that he wants to learn and enjoys training.

Beginner Obedience - Aged 6+ months

Do you have a rambunctious older puppy that gets over excited in public?

Perhaps you have acquired a rescue dog that has not had much socialization or training, we can help! Group training will not only help teach you how to properly handle your dog, but also help your dog learn to listen under distractions. Through our positive motivational methods, let us teach you how to motivate your dog so that he wants to learn and enjoys training.

All group obedience classes are located right inside the city of London Ontario on a scenic location on the river at the London Middlesex Civitan Club. Our dog training instructors have extensive experience in dog training and dog behaviour and all lessons come with written handouts.

This class is for both older puppies and friendly adult dogs, because it is never too late to teach an old dog new tricks!  We agree that dogs are highly social animals that need leadership but it is clear that we can provide this using a positive approach.
